Meet the Founder

  • I’m Dr. Melody Metcalf-Stotler, a media psychologist, creative facilitator, and consultant based in Alaska. I work with creatives, small businesses, and organizations to help them understand who they are, how they communicate, and how they show up, especially in online spaces.

My approach blends media psychology, creative practice, and practical strategy. I focus on clarity, coherence, and comfort, helping people build brands and systems that feel human, sustainable, and true to themselves rather than forced or performative.

  • I came to this work through a mix of academic training and hands on creative practice. My background is in media psychology, where I studied how people relate to media, identity, and representation. Over time, that research showed up very clearly in real world settings, especially with artists, small businesses, and organizations trying to communicate online without losing themselves.

Alongside that work, I’ve spent years teaching, facilitating, and directing creative experiences. I learned early on that people don’t need more instructions or pressure. They need language, structure, and permission to explore. That combination of psychology, creativity, and practical sense making is what shapes everything I do now.

  • At the center of my work is a belief that clarity should feel supportive, not stressful. I’m interested in helping people understand themselves and their work in ways that feel grounded, coherent, and sustainable over time.

I value curiosity over certainty, collaboration over performance, and systems that respect how real humans think and create. Whether I’m teaching, consulting, or facilitating, my goal is to lower the barrier to engagement and help people feel more at ease showing up as themselves.

If this approach resonates, I’d love to hear what you’re working on and explore whether there’s a good fit.
